right now, Santa will be with us again this year. We are fortunate that Mrs. Claus is letting
him out of the North Pole Workshop. He
will be here every Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday starting with the Tuesday
before Thanksgiving through December 23rd including Thanksgiving
night. December 23rd will be
his last night with us this season.
here from 5:30 until about 8:00 on Tuesdays and 9:00 on Fridays and
Saturdays. (He will stay as long as there is someone in line to see him.)
COVID - 19 Statement:
the global pandemic caused by COVID-19, we have made several changes to the way
you will get to see Santa this year.
These changes are based on recommendations and/or guidelines from the
CDC, AR Dept of Health, and Mrs. Claus with hers being the most strict. Please remember, these changes are in place
to keep Santa and all who visit him as safe as possible. With that said, here are the changes and
guidelines we will be following this year.
1. While in
line, before your visit, please maintain social distancing.
2. All who
want to see Santa are welcome. We ask that only those directly involved
with the photo come through the building.
We have the big viewing window for all the others to experience the
visit with Santa through. This will help
us with traffic flow through the workshop and social distancing between
entering the workshop, school age and above, will need to wear a mask. We understand the mask won’t prevent infection,
but worn properly it will help reduce the chance of infection. Mrs. Claus has made it clear, no mask, no
entering the workshop will be subject to screening. That screening could include: touchless
temperature check and basic questions concerning possible infection. We do ask that if you, or any of your group,
are not feeling well, or are exhibiting flu like symptoms (Covid and the flu
share many symptoms), that you do no visit Santa.
will not be allowing anyone in his lap this year. Social distancing guidelines will be followed
as much as possible. We are making
alterations to Santa’s chair and putting up barriers to facilitate photos. This is one point that Mrs. Claus was adamant
your visit with Santa, we will take a photo.
Be prepared for that photo to be family style. In order to maintain social distancing and a
smooth flow through the workshop, we will not be printing photos on site this
year. All photos will be available from
the BHS FFA Website and can be used however you
choose. We do not copyright the photos. Be sure and follow the
instructions given on their website for downloading.
7. There is
no set fee for photos but Santa does ask for donations to cover the costs.
There will be a place for you to donate.
does have a couple of requests for those who visit.
Be courteous of those waiting in line before and behind you.
Everyone will get their time with Santa.
Parents, please don't fall in the trap of "the screaming
photo." One traumatized child can lead to many. Being
patient with little ones is the key. Santa is going to work hard to get
the photo. Little ones can be unpredictable.
Come see Santa before going to the souvenir stand. Hot
chocolate gets sticky and messy.
Stop by the bathroom facilities before you get in line. Accidents
happen. If it does happen, please take care of it before you get to
Santa. If for some reason you can't, please let Santa know so he can make
